    On this private full-day tour from Bucharest or Brasov your English-speaking guide will take you to see some of the most magnificent castles in Transylvania: Sinaia - Palace of Peles and Sinaia Monastery, Rasnov Fortress and Bran Castle.

DAY 1:

​

1. Peles Castle - This Neo-Renaissance castle was built by King Carol I who vacationed here in the 1860s. Fairytale-like in appearance, it’s considered one of the most stunning castles in Europe.

2. Sinaia Monastery - Was founded by Prince Mihai Cantacuzino in 1695 and named after the great Sinai Monastery on Mount Sinai. 

3. Rasnov citadel – An old citadel with spectacular views over the mountains.
4. Bran castle – Count Dracula’s castle

5. Brasov – The best-known medieval town in Transylvania.

6. Prejmer Saxon Fortified Church - The fortified church of Prejmer stands out among the more than 150 Transylvanian Saxon fortified churches that have been added to the UNESCO World Heritage list due to its unique features.

7. Feldioara Citadel - This citadel, is considered to be the most important fortification built by the Teutonic Knights in Transylvania.
