DAY 1

 

1. Mocanița Huțulca - Going through the unspoiled landscapes of Bucovina, this steam train line was open for use in 1888, when it was used for forestry transport. Now you can travel on this line and can enjoy traditionally prepared local cuisine during the ride.

2.Road trip on Transrarau road and hiking in Rarău mountains to the Lady’s Stones

3.Vatra Dornei  - also referred to as the Pearl of Bucovina, retains its significance in the region by serving as a link between the Ardeal and Moldova regions. It is an ideal destination for engaging in various forms of active tourism, such as spa treatments or cultural experiences, throughout the year.

DAY 2

4. Riding horses/Mountain biking 

5. Hiking trip - Oușorul peak (1639 m).

6. Ciocanesti Village is considered a museum of Eastern European Village life. Is best known for these colorful wooden houses, covered with shingle that have facades decorated with stylized geometric and floral symbols, the same ones found on local costumes, but also for the painted eggs and wood rafting on Golden Bistrita river.

 

 

OPTIONAL extra activities:

* ZIPLINE Palma - It is 1 km long, 100 m high , and the lowering speed can be as high as 100 km/h.

* Easy rafting on the Bistrita river.

* Tinovul Mare is considered the largest oligotrophic peat bog in Romania. Tinovul Mare scientific reservation from Poiana Stampei has a surface of 681.8 ha. The peat bog is a swamp, an area where the groundwater reaches the surface and a specific flora is formed, consisting largely of moss. The peat thickness exceeds 1 m and is still active.

* Visit Hotel Castle Dracula - Chamber of Dracula, this is the real place mentioned by Bram Stoker in his novel "Dracula".

* Colibita Resort - enjoy the beauty of the lake surrounded by mountains and hills.
