DESCRIPTION:
Romania holds a cultural, historical and ethno-folkloric patrimony of considerable value which advantages the increase tourism attractiveness. There are a variety of relief features such as the Carpathian Mountains, the Black Sea, the Danube Delta, as well as a multitude of wooded areas, rivers, and lakes, which make the country one of the biggest tourist attractions in Europe.

5. Saxon Villages - Visit the fortified churches.
6. Sibiu - was voted Cultural European Capital in 2007 and named by Forbes as “Europe’s 8th most idyllic place to live”.
7. Corvinilor Castle - One of the most elegant and stunning castles in Transylvania.
8. Alba Iulia - The largest fortress in Romania.
9. Turda Salt mine - The Underground Theme Park of Romania.
10. Cluj - The ‘capital’ of Transylvania is a major cultural and university hub full of creative energy and good vibes!
11. Breb - Discover the simplicity of Romanian rural living.
12. Sapanta cemetery - It is famous for its brightly colored tombstones with naïve paintings describing, in an original and poetic manner, the people who are buried there in addition to scenes from their lives. Just a few km away we will visit Sighet Museum - The first museum dedicated to the victims of communism and resistance.
13. Mocanita(Steam train)- You’ll be riding a narrow-gauge, wood-fired 1932 steam train from the last of Romania’s old forestry lines, maneuvering tight curves along the Vaser River and into the deep woods.
14. Dorna Land - Take in the landscape of northern Romania Carpathians on horseback, on skis, or by boat.
15. Bucovina Painted Monasteries - Voronet and Putna - one of the most impressive UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Romania. It’s a collection of eight Romanian Orthodox monasteries, scattered across the Moldovia and Bucovina regions of northern Romania.
16. Suceava Fortress - The fortress was built in the late 1300s by Moldavian ruler Peter Musat (Petru II). Prince Musat built the fortress to serve as his fortified residence and to protect the new Moldavian capital of Suceava from the threat posed by the Ottoman empire.
17. Targu Neamt Fortress - One of the most famous Middle Age Romanian citadels.
18. Bicaz Gorges and Red Lake - Their tall rocky walls reach 350-400 meters, narrowing up to seven meters in its most spectacular part, the Hell’s Gate. The road leads up to the Red Lake, the second major attraction, and the best-known natural dam lake in Romania.
19. The Feldioara citadel, situated near Brasov, is considered to be the most important fortification built by the Teutonic Knights in Transylvania.
20. Bran Castle is popularly known in the region and beyond as “Dracula’s Castle.”
21. Transfagarasan Highway - "The best road in the World" - TOP GEAR and Curtea de Arges Monastery.
